On the 1st of April 2019 the Waikato Data Portal officially went live. Out man Ethan Hohneck was lucky enough to be the Project Manager on this project although it was no easy feat managing the collaboration of 12 councils.
The Project had a guiding principle of going live with 3 to 5 councils each uploading 10 to 20 of the customers desired data sets. On the go live date we had 7 councils with 180 data sets. A great achievement in itself.
More phases are still to come so watch this space.
